What We Believe

Your baby doesn't have a sleep problem. Your baby has a position problem. The one position that calms a refluxing baby is the one hospitals still use in the NICU — and the one your arms find every time you pick them up. We built a safe way to hold it.

Our Story

Started by a NICU nurse crying in her car at 3am.

I'm Laura — a neonatal nurse, and the mother of a baby who had reflux from three weeks old. I positioned reflux-prone preemies upright and supported every shift at work. Then I'd come home and be told the same thing every parent is told: lay him flat, wait it out. He'd only settle upright, on my chest, and arch and scream every time I put him down.

The night I finally recreated the hospital position at home, he slept four hours and I cried from relief. But pillows flatten and towels slide — so I built the thing that simply holds that position, safely, for supervised awake-time. CradleRest is where we started.

Meet CradleRest.

A positioning cradle that safely holds the calm, upright position your baby only settles in on your chest. Firm foam keeps milk and acid down, a leg-cushion tilt helps trapped gas pass, and a contact-simulating cocoon recreates the feeling of being held — so you can finally put them down and eat, shower, or breathe.

For supervised, awake-time settling. Not a sleeper.
